Pierce Ranch Vineyards : Profile
Pierce Ranch Vineyards is a small family-owned operation producing estate grown wines, a mere 1,600 cases per year. Our small scale allows us to give our vines meticulous attention with our goal to strike the perfect balance between nature and nurture. Across 35 cultivated acres, there are 20 varietals planted with an emphasis on Spanish and Portuguese varietals, including Tempranillo, Tinta Cao, Albarino, Verdelho, Touriga National, Touriga Francesa, Tinta Garnacha, Periquita, Tinta Barrada, Trinchadera, Tinta Amarella, and Arinto.
In addition to the Iberian varietals, we also grow the more conventional Rhone and Bordeaux grapes including Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, Carignan and Petite Verdot.
Visit our Tasting Room at 499 Wave Street in Monterey, one block up from Historical Cannery Row, Thursdays through Mondays, 11:00 to 6:30. (831-371-8900)
